Thursday, April 12, 2018 7:00 AM

Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb chose the Credit Union House of Oklahoma for a campaign rally before heading to the State Capitol Wednesday to formally file his candidacy for governor.

Lamb is one of six candidates seeking the Republican nomination. Wednesday was the start of Oklahoma’s three-day filing for candidates in legislative and statewide offices. Oklahoma’s primary elections are June 26.

During the morning rally, legislators, statewide officeholders, and other VIPs were on hand to lend their endorsement of the two-term lieutenant governor. Among them was retired General Tommy Franks, former commander of the U.S. Central Command.
