Keep Purpose Constant: Credit Unions 101
Thursday, May 11, 2017 6:05 AM

Join Us for the YP Conference in Oklahoma City, July 31-Aug. 1

Credit unions are unique in the financial services market, and they can grow and thrive via the cooperative principles. But National Credit Union Foundation Director of Communications Christopher Morris says there are many missed opportunities to leverage the credit union difference to help generate growth and financial success.

You can hear Morris speak at this year's Young Professional (YP) Conference July 31-Aug. 1 in Oklahoma City. You’ll leave knowing what it means to be part of a worldwide credit union movement and how you can develop a more cooperative purpose-driven credit union.

Morris is responsible for the development and execution of strategic communications for the National Credit Union Foundation and assists with the Credit Union Development Education (DE) program. He is a passionate advocate for credit unions who has been recognized as a Trailblazer 40 Below by the Credit Union Times and was profiled as a "rock star" by Credit Union Magazine. Morris was also one of five 2013 World Council of Credit Unions Young Credit Union People Program (WYCUP) award winners.

If you're a credit union professional aged 40 and under who's tuned in to the cooperative movement, plugged into the CU philosophy of people helping people, and ready to demonstrate what the credit union difference means in your community, mark your calendar now so you don't miss out.
