Two Days and Four Sessions of Intense IRA Training

The IRA School is a must for all persons involved with IRAs. Presenters Deborah Crawford and Christy Crawford address the purpose of IRAs, the role IRAs play in a member’s retirement strategy, and the different types of IRAs and eligibility requirements. IRAs are constantly changing, and it is important to keep up to date.

Day one prepares you to open, move, and close IRAs, and get all the paperwork right in the process. Learn more about IRA eligibilities, SEPs and SIMPLES, rollovers, and transfers. The second day takes you on a deeper dive. You'll receive a quick product review along with new numbers and changes for 2017. You'll also begin to work the complicated issues—reporting errors and fixes, excess contributions, audits, and inherited IRAs.

Retirement savings plan professionals at all levels should attend, including IRA administrators, retirement plan product managers, operations and compliance managers and staff, retirement plan client services managers and staff members, call center managers and support staff, individuals with retirement industry designations, and those who want to network with others in the industry,
