It's Okay to be the Boss
Thursday, June 5, 2014 6:45 AM

Do you ever feel like you don’t have enough time to effectively manage your staff? Perhaps you avoid interacting with some members of your team because you don’t have strong rapport with them, or maybe you secretly wish you could be more in control but don’t know where to start. Credit Union Resources is offering a must-attend workshop for credit union personnel responsible for managing others. “It’s Okay to be the Boss” offers attendees a step-by-step guide to becoming the kind of manager your staff needs.

Presented by Howard Bufe, assistant vice president of OnBalance, a department of Credit Union Resources - a subsidiary of the Cornerstone Credit Union League, this one-day program is being offered June 18 in Houston and June 19 in La Porte.

Among other things, attendees will discover effective strategies for overcoming obstacles in managing others; gain a deeper understanding of the importance of being a strong and highly engaged manager, and develop an action plan for everyday management responsibilities.

The educational investment is just $199 per person and includes continental breakfast and lunch. Online registration is available and credit unions can find additional information by clicking here.
