Invest in America Offers CUs Instant Access to Lead Data from the GM CU Member Discount Program
Monday, January 13, 2014 6:45 AM

To help credit unions grow auto loans, CU Solutions Group’s Invest in America loyalty program is now offering real-time discount request data from the GM CU Member Discount program. Credit unions participating in the Premium GM CU Member Discount program will now receive instant notification when their member visits and requests an authorization to use the GM CU Discount for the purchase of a new Chevrolet, GMC or Buick.

The GM Member Discount allows credit union members to request “preferred pricing” which is a special discounted price.  Because more than 90 percent of requests convert to a purchase, this data provides a solid lead for auto lending.

“In today’s fast-paced world, this real-time reporting of GM authorizations gives credit unions exactly what they need – the ability to reach out quickly to their members and help them secure credit union auto financing,” said CU Solutions Group CEO David Adams. “We are constantly working with our valued Invest in America partners like General Motors to further strengthen the program, and this enhancement is proof of that effort.”

The GM CU Member Discount Program was launched in 2009, and is a member benefit offered exclusively through Invest in America.  It’s free, virtually effortless and the rewards to your credit union are endless. Thanks to GM’s support, credit unions have the ability to add their information to be included in the loan link on the Invest in America GM microsite.

With the program members receive “preferred pricing,” which is a special discounted price below the MSRP when they shop for vehicles. Below is information about this program:

  • Members get a better deal by combining credit union discount with current GM incentives.
  • Members can pick the options for their perfect new ride...and see the price.
  • If members already have a vehicle in mind they can check to see if the local dealer has it in stock.
  • Financing is through your credit union, and they can apply online.
  • Members can request a brochure to learn more about the vehicle they have in mind.
  • If a member has a vehicle to trade in they can find out what it might be worth.
