Houston Chronicle Names First Service CU a Top 100 Place to Work
Monday, November 14, 2016 6:55 AM

For the fourth consecutive year, First Service Credit Union was named one of the top 100 places to work in Houston by the Houston Chronicle. First Service ranked 11th out of the top 50 mid-size employers.

The Top Workplaces were determined by the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, a research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement.

Nearly 300 companies were nominated for the award, which recognizes the best places to work in the nation's fourth largest city, with a metropolitan population exceeding six million. Top employers were selected based on survey results that measured workplace culture including alignment, execution, and engagement.

“Our culture is what sets us apart,” said David Bleazard, CEO of First Service Credit Union. “Yes, we try to give our employees every possible benefit, opportunity, and reward we can, but it is our focus on culture and people that is at the heart of what we do. We're proud to have been named a Top Workplace in Houston for the fourth time. It's an honor to work with such dedicated, hardworking, and kind employees.”
