"Congratulations to the Houston Chapter for a very successful lobby day," said Jim Phelps, Cornerstone Credit Union League SVP of Advocacy. "Chapters have an opportunity to play a key role during the legislative session by organizing trips to the Capitol to build relationships with lawmakers, and by activating local credit unions in support of credit union legislative interests."

Many members of the Houston Chapter will be returning February 9-10 for the Texas Governmental Affairs Conference and will have the opportunity to visit lawmakers to further discuss credit union issues and build relationships with their legislators.
