Highlight 2016 Annual Meeting: ACH Origination—Benefits, Risks, and Board Support
Tuesday, December 29, 2015 6:30 AM

2016 Annual Meeting & Expo

There’s so much buzz around cybersecurity, cyber breaches, cyberattacks, cyber assessments, and cyberthreats, it’s easy to get lost and hard to uncover exactly what you need to understand as a board member.

Rayleen Pirnie is a recognized payments risk and fraud expert who works with financial institutions and businesses across the nation. In her program, “ACH Origination: Benefits, Risks, and Board Support,” at the 2016 Annual Meeting, Pirnie will examine how a credit union's board of directors balances the risks of ACH origination to enable maximum rewards.

Pirnie's session separates fact from hype and examines key aspects that board members need to understand about cybercrimes and cybersecurity. You play a pivotal role in the safety and soundness of your credit union, but do you know the questions to ask and what information should be presented regularly for your analysis? Attendees leave this session with actionable items, valuable resources, and key questions to ask to help measure your cybersecurity success.

Rayleen PirniePirnie works with financial institutions and businesses across the nation to help them understand today’s threats and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies. She also speaks to consumer groups revealing real-world methods to reduce the chances of devastating frauds, and law enforcement on payment system processing and evidence collection in electronic payment channels. Pirnie’s areas of expertise include regulatory compliance, payment system risk management, cybercrimes, and information security.

Pirnie graduated with honors from The University of Phoenix earning a BS in criminal justice administration. She earned her Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation in 2013.

We look forward to seeing you at our Annual Meeting, April 5-7, which takes place in spectacular Oklahoma City. This is a conference unlike any other.
