GAC 'Crashers' Extend Application Deadline to Dec. 11
Friday, December 2, 2016 6:45 AM

Applications for Crash the GAC, the program that brings young credit union professionals to Washington, D.C., to experience the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference, are due Dec. 11.

Through the “Crash” program, The Cooperative Trust and CUNA provide opportunities for up-and-coming credit union professionals to take part in GAC keynote and breakout sessions, visit congressional leaders in Hike the Hill advocacy meetings, and network with more than 5,000 credit union leaders attending the CUNA GAC.

Crashers also have access to the GAC exhibit hall, the largest in the financial services industry.

CUNA covers conference registration. Many state leagues offer scholarships to cover travel costs, and housing costs are also reduced because Crashers share rooms.

Applicants are asked to submit a 60-second video to make their case why they should be selected as a Crasher. Crash the GAC sponsors one person from each state and the District of Columbia, plus one wild card attendee.

Applicants are still needed from Arkansas. Arkansas credit union YPs—this is your opportunity!
