Fort Worth Chapter of CUs Hosts Annual Carnival
Celebrating the Annual Christmas Carnival are the Joshua High School Sweetheart Dance Team, Fort Worth Chapter board members, credit union staff, and preferred partners of the chapter board.

The Fort Worth Chapter of Credit Unions has hosted their annual Christmas Carnival with Webb Elementary for 15 years and with Sam Rosen Elementary for 25 years. Many volunteers in their red Credit Unions Care T-shirts, sponsored credit unions, and their preferred partners work hard to make the event a wonderful experience for the children.

During the event, children get a photo taken with Santa, chat with Flowers the Clown, play games with credit union volunteers and win prizes, receive a goody bag, and enjoy entertainment from the Joshua High School Sweetheart Dance Team.

Credit union organizers say it's a very humbling experience, and that they look forward to doing it again. On average these parties cost $10,000 and require many volunteers, but participants say it's well worth the cost and time when they see the children’s eyes light up. For some, this was the only Christmas celebration they received.
