Friday, May 11, 2018 7:00 AM

First Oklahoma Federal Credit Union hosted a charity golf tournament for the Children’s Miracle Network on May 4, at Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Okla. Funds raised for the golf tournament benefit the Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis in Tulsa.

This was the sixth year First Oklahoma FCU has held their annual golf tournament and the third year it was held at Forest Ridge. This year's tournament was the credit union's largest to date with 150 in attendance.

Twenty-eight teams participated from 10 credit unions. Together they raised more than $10,000 for the Children’s Hospital.

First Oklahoma FCU was awarded the “CO-OP Miracle Match,” allowing them a match of $10,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network, which brought the grand total donation to $20,000. In six successful tournament years, First Oklahoma FCU has donated more than $100,000 to Children’s Miracle Network.

The date for next year's tournament has already been set for May 3, 2019. Again, it will be held at Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Okla.
