First Family Federal Credit Union has played "Dirty Santa" at their Christmas party for years. Typically, the credit union donates items for its employees. All the employees have to do is attend the Christmas party, play the game, and take an item home. However, this year was a little different.

of the credit union sponsoring the gifts, management put a twist on the game. Each employee drew another employee's name and then purchased items that reflected that person's childhood. The employees had a great time opening gifts and sharing memories.

After they were done, they put everything together and donated all the gifts to the Lake Drive

Care and Rehabilitation Center. This is a local home for residents with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in Henryetta. The credit union was able to "play" Santa for over 60 wonderful and grateful people there.

A group of the center's residents visit the credit union frequently, and the tellers say that no matter how bad their

day is, when they see the Lake Drive van pull up, it gets a little brighter.

First Family FCU Creative Marketing Director Staci Alsover said, "There's so much negativity in the world that I had to share how wonderful my fellow employees are and how awesome it is to be part of the credit union philosophy."
