First Family FCU Announces New Location
Monday, September 21, 2015 6:50 AM

First Family Federal Credit Union (FFFCU) recently celebrated the groundbreaking of their new Okmulgee location at 1000 East 20th Street, in Oklahoma. The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2016.

The approximately 3,300-square-foot site will feature a "lodge style" design with many conveniences for credit union members, including a larger interior, 24-hour ATM, a coin counter, safe deposit boxes, and four drive-thru lanes.

"We are so excited about our future new home," said FFFCU Branch Manager Alicia Dudley. "At our new location, we will be able to offer even more services to our members. We would like to give a special thank you to our wonderful members for making this possible. It is because of you that we are able to build this new branch."

President and CEO David Dykes, Jr. said, “One of the advantages of credit unions is that we are a full-service financial cooperative. Each and every member is not only a member; they are an owner of the credit union. We pay our owners back by providing lower interest rates on loans, higher rates of return on deposits, and lower fees and charges on services.”

FFFCU was established by the Pittsburgh Plate Workers of Henryetta in 1956, and grew to four locations (the fourth opening this fall in McAlester). With almost 13,000 members, FFFCU serves anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in McIntosh, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, and Pittsburg Counties. For more information, visit
