Friday, March 24, 2017 6:30 AM

Day-long Academic Conferences Deep Dive into Vital Credit Union Topics

The Filene Research Institute invites credit union industry leaders to attend a research colloquium tied to each of five Centers of Excellence. Located throughout the country, these day-long events explore in-depth issues affecting credit unions and consumer finance.

Colloquia are offered at no cost to Filene members, thanks to generous sponsors. Led by academic thinkers from across North America, Filene’s Centers of Excellence produce unique research and engagement opportunities for Filene members and the credit union system, which are designed to address the changing needs of credit unions and their members. The research centers explore critical and emerging topics regarding the future of consumer financial trends to encourage credit unions to think differently and do amazing things to change people’s lives.

“Filene’s colloquia bring expert professionals and university professors together with credit union executives to examine new research and explore trends and insights affecting our industry,” said Andrew Downin, managing director of research for Filene. “Don’t plan on sitting back and listening, come prepared to engage!”
