FAA Credit Union Shares Love in the Community
Tuesday, February 16, 2016 6:55 AM

FAA Credit Union wanted to "Share the Love" with unsuspecting consumers by surprising them with random acts of kindness. Throughout the day on Friday, Feb. 12, they did just that at a Dunkin Donuts, Capitol Hill Florist and Gifts, and a Duo/Conoco gas station in south Oklahoma City. The credit union paid for some consumers' purchases at those locations without advance notice.

This was the 6th consecutive year for Share the Love, which doesn't stop at Valentine's Day. The credit union also hosts "It's Your Lucky Day" for St. Patrick's Day and "Scare the Love" on Halloween.

FAA President Steve Rasmussen said, "It is our opportunity to give back to the community and support the businesses around us. We take great pleasure from the smiles we see when doing something special and unexpected. You never know what a difference it can make for someone."

This is just one more way FAA CU is serving the community. With headquarters in Oklahoma City and seven branches in the greater Oklahoma City area, FAA CU has been serving members for 70 years. Today, the credit union has 50,000 members in Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, and Pottawatomie counties. Membership is open to anyone who resides, works, worships, or attends school in the eight-county service area. FAA CU has assets in excess of $580 million. Learn more at
