FAA Credit Union Receives Two National Awards for Community Outreach Efforts

FAA CU Award at CUNA GACOklahoma City-based FAA Credit Union was recognized by the Credit Union National Association for its community outreach efforts at the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference on March 11. The credit union received a first-place Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award for its annual efforts with the Oklahoma County’s Youth Services SKIL program and an honorable mention Louise Herring Philosophy in Action Award for saving members more than $14 million in potential interest payments through its Credit Score Analysis program.

FAA Credit Union was first recognized by the Cornerstone Credit Union League in Texas, who then sent the entries to the national competition, which is judged by representatives from around the country. The credit union was the only Oklahoma credit union honored during the event.

We practice the credit union philosophy on a daily basis, and these awards encourage us to continue these efforts.”
