FAA Credit Union and Members Donate Turkeys
Friday, November 21, 2014 6:55 AM

Oklahoma families will enjoy a brighter holiday this year through the FAA Credit Union's Holiday Loan promotion. For each FAA CU Holiday Loan secured by Dec. 23, FAA CU will donate a turkey to Urban Mission's Resource Food Center. Turkeys will be delivered on Nov. 21 ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday and again on Dec. 22 just in time for Christmas.

"We like to add incentives to our loan promotions and this year we decided to use the incentives for Oklahomans who need a little extra help," states Steve Rasmussen, president and CEO, FAA Credit Union. "We are pleased to work with Urban Mission to help fulfill their holiday meal needs. In addition, we hope this will encourage others to consider donating to the cause of their choice this holiday season."

Urban Mission assists approximately 20,000 people in the Oklahoma City metro area each year through programs including Emergency Disaster Relief, Food Resource Center, Mission Market Place, SPARK, Kids Café, Back-to-School Program, and Santa Store.
