evolve FCU Offers Online Account
Thursday, September 12, 2013 6:50 AM

evolve FCU says it is the first credit union in El Paso to offer its members a complete, online checking account, the ePriority account, with features such as transfers to other financial institutions, remote deposit capture, and online account opening. With the rise in technology and dependence on mobile devices, the credit union understands that it must continue to evolve its services in order to meet these growing demands.

Benefits of the ePriority account include no monthly service charge, no balance requirement, priority and exclusive access to eBankers online chat for banking needs and most importantly, the account earns a dividend rate of 2.50%* Annual Percentage Rate on the first $5,000 in the account.

When launching this account, evolve FCU President and CEO Ken Walters understood the need to incentivize and reward members taking their banking completely online. Not only does this account allow members to bank from anywhere, it also cuts down on the credit union’s operational expenses.

“While online banks such as Ally Bank and ING already offering these types of services to their customers, credit unions need to be able to offer the same types of services for their technology forward members,” notes Walters. “Especially if we want to be able to attract the 18-35 year old age group.”
