evolve FCU has put together an elite team of passionate young adults who will be a part of the evolve Project in 2013. Antonio Marquez, Christopher Valverde and Ashley Ann Hernandez have all joined the team as evolve Project Apprentice’s.

This afternoon, the group is hosting a meet-up at Album Park to bring awareness to the evolve Project team and the credit union. They will be responsible for creating monthly “man on the street” video(s) educating the public about who evolve FCU is and what the credit union has to offer the community.

According to credit union officials, the group will engage a variety of audiences about the differences between banks and credit unions, as well as assist in the credit union’s social media efforts.

Marquez, the credit union says, is a perfect fit for the project with his intense passion for filmmaking. He is currently a film student at New Mexico State University and has appeared in short films such as No Exit, Nomad and The Facilities.

Valverde is a graduate of the University of Arizona. He holds a degree in Journalism and hopes to one day fulfill his ambition of becoming a sports writer or sports broadcaster. In addition to working with the evolve Project team he works as a marketing assistant for Valor Hispano Magazine.

Hernandez is currently a senior at Bel Air High School and will be graduating this summer. She is currently on the speech and debate team and aspires to one day become a lawyer or a journalist.

Each of the three members will work towards celebrating and promoting the credit union and the evolve Project through their active and urban lifestyle and social network events such as today’s meet-up.

Teams members of the evolve Project are given the opportunity to enhance their professional development, leadership and communication skills in an energetic, fun and friendly environment - while getting paid.
