Energy Capital CU Offers Assistance to Members Affected by Hurricane Harvey

Houston-based Energy Capital Credit Union is taking care of its members and reminding them to reach out for assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Any Energy Capital members living in a FEMA-declared disaster area are eligible for special loan products, including flood relief loans, waived fees, and payment deferment on existing loans.

Energy Capital’s Emergency Assistance includes:

  • Flood Relief Loans up to $20,000 at 6.64 percent APR* for up to 60 months.
  • Free payment deferment on all qualified existing loans will be allowed for up to 60 Days if requested by Sept. 30, 2017.
  • All ECCU ATM excess withdrawal fees will be waived through Sept. 30, 2017.
  • All online and telephone payment fees will be waived through Sept. 30, 2017.
  • Minimum payments on our VISA Platinum Rewards Credit Card will be waived through Sept. 30, 2017.  

To receive assistance for any of the above options, members should call 832-604-4848 or speak with a member service representative at a branch for more details.
