Education First FCU Selects Credit Union Resources to Conduct CFO Search

Credit Union Resources has been selected to conduct a search for the position of chief financial officer for Education First Federal Credit Union in Beaumont, Texas.

As the chief financial officer, this experienced executive will be responsible for the development of the financial well-being of the credit union by providing financial projections and accounting services, preparing growth plans, and directing staff. The position requires an individual with a history of financial planning and strategy skills.

With 10 locations serving members in Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Newton, Orange, and Tyler counties, Education First FCU has $350 million in assets and serves more than 35,000 members. The mission of Education First Federal Credit Union is to maintain a sound financial institution and provide services in a friendly and responsive atmosphere. Since 1993, Education First has been dedicated to educators, their families, and many other members who have joined the credit union along the way, sharing in their steady growth and believing in the cooperative spirit that is unique to credit unions.

The executive search for Education First FCU’s chief financial officer will be led by Marcus Cotton, vice president of executive recruiting at Credit Union Resources.
