Tuesday, July 19, 2016 6:55 AM

East Texas Professional Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening of its new branch facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 20. The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. and will include special account offers, prize registration, and refreshments.

The branch is located at 1925 West Panola Street in Carthage, Texas, and offers account and teller services, consumer loans, drive-thru service, and an ATM.

“Our credit union began serving school system employees in Panola County 55 years ago,” said Byron Norton, ETPCU president and CEO. “In 2015, the Texas Credit Union Department approved our request for a field of membership expansion to a community charter in Panola County. This charter allows us to open membership to everyone who lives or works in Panola County.”

Lobby hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Drive-thru hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

“We’re excited about this new full-service branch location,” said Norton. “We look forward to serving the financial needs of Carthage and Panola County residents.”
