East Texas Professional CU Announces Promotions

The board of directors and management staff of East Texas Professional Credit Union have announced the promotion of three employees.

Joy Pearson has been promoted to financial service representative manager. Pearson has been employed by East Texas Professional Credit Union since 2009. She most recently served as consumer loan officer at the Longview location. Pearson holds a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing from Texas A&M University.

Jeannie Rodriguez has been named AVP/call center manager. She has extensive credit union experience and has been employed by East Texas Professional Credit Union since 1985. Rodriguez most recently served as AVP/new accounts manager.  

Julie Smith has been appointed card services and fraud department manager. Smith began her employment with the credit union in 2013 as the call center manager, and was recently promoted to assistant vice president. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Tennessee Tech University.

“These individuals have shown great leadership and management skills,” said Byron Norton, ETPCU president and chief executive officer. “I am confident each of them will excel in their new positions.”
