Early Bird Discount Deadline for Dallas Lending Seminar is Oct. 6
Friday, September 25, 2015 6:20 AM

The Comprehensive Lending Seminar is coming to Dallas Oct. 20-21, but you have until Oct. 6 to make the early bird deadline and save your credit union money on registration.

Historically the American way has been buy today, pay tomorrow. However, since 2008 that philosophy has begun to change. Consumers are seeing that the mentality of borrow, borrow, borrow can be dangerous and lead to financial disaster. But there's still a need for any financial institution to offer consumer loans and to effectively discuss the consumer loan products they offer.

Consumer lending is not a skill one learns quickly. It takes time and practice. This program covers a spectrum of information on consumer lending. Participants will learn issues from the philosophy of consumer lending, all the way through how to make a solid loan decision that benefits both the member and the credit union.

This program is designed to train beginners as well as more advanced loan officers. Those starting out will benefit most by attending both sessions. For those with a greater degree of experience, the second day will cover more advanced topics.
