Don't Get Caught Off Guard by New Requirements in Real Estate Compliance and Mortgage Lending
Friday, January 23, 2015 6:45 AM

Cornerstone Credit Union League's Residential Real Estate Compliance and Mortgage Lending Seminars will cover the new regulations as well as updates and other regulations during the sessions on February 24-25 in Little Rock.

New federal regulations for real estate compliance and mortgage lending will require credit unions to comply by August 1. Any employees involved in originating, application, processing, closing, and servicing home equity loans will benefit from these classes.

Kimberly Lundquist, speaker and trainer, has spent the better part of her career teaching all aspects of federal regulatory residential real estate compliance and will be teaching both days.

During the first day, Lundquist will present on completing applications, processing checklists and duties, homeownership counseling, and ability to repay. The second session will focus on appraisals, escrows, evaluation procedures, flood requirements, finance charges, qualified mortgages, and more.

For more information or to register for the seminars, please visit the Real Estate Compliance and Mortgage Lending Seminars page.
