Get Your Guest or Spouse Involved in a Social Responsibility Project
Cornerstone Credit Union League has announced its Corporate Social Responsibility Project for the 2018 Annual Meeting in Little Rock, Ark., which takes place April 18-20. Consider that while you "Putt for a Purpose" in a golf tournament on April 17 that benefits the Children's Miracle Network, your conference guest or spouse can be doing good works too.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Project is a rewarding experience designed for the spouses and guests of conference attendees, and every year the project is different. This year, volunteers will spend time helping others at the Arkansas Food Bank.
Activities include preparing backpack kits for schoolchildren, filling boxes with senior-friendly meals, and boxing up donated items such as produce, breads, canned goods, packaged foods, and drinks. Other projects include repackaging food products, office work, delivering senior boxes, and working in the community garden.
