In an increasingly risky world, there are a variety of risks that impact your credit union’s ability to serve its members. While risk cannot be eliminated completely, it can be managed. This course will discuss how to identify and determine what the supervisory committee’s priorities are regarding risk.

About Steve Gibbs

Steve Gibbs is AVP - Compliance Services for Shared Compliance Resources with Credit Union Resources, Inc.  With over 20 years in the financial industry, his career includes time served with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Office of Thrift Supervision - “OTS”), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).  He received professional designations and awards from OTS and FDIC and holds CUNA’s Credit Union Compliance Expert Designation (CUCE) and recently earned the Bank Secrecy Act professional certification (BSACS).  He has both spoken to and performed training for numerous groups including SWACHA, Texas Credit Union Department, EPN, as well as leagues in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, the Dakotas, Kansas, Nebraska and California.  Steve has a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance from University of Texas at Dallas.
