Dallas Credit Union Scholarship Recipients Announced

Recipients of the “Funding the Future” Scholarship Program at Dallas Credit Union have been announced, with three recent high school graduates named. Brooke Wilson, Mayra Cardenas, and Madeline Oles each received $1,000 toward their college expenses for the 2015-16 school year.

  • Brooke Wilson graduated from Plano Senior High School. She is attending the University of Texas at Dallas and plans to study economics.
  • Mayra Cardenas is a graduate of Dubiski Career High School in Grand Prairie. She is attending the University of Texas at Arlington with architecture as her major course of study.
  • Madeline Oles graduated from Central High School in Keller. She is attending Texas A&M University in College Station and plans to major in biology and pre-medicine.

Scholarship recipients were chosen based on their academic achievement, leadership activities, service to community, and responses to an essay question.
