CUs Are Bigger and Better Collectively

Credit Unions Care Holidays

We all work hard to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network, and every little bit we contribute adds up. We are thrilled to see credit unions give $25,000 or $35,000—or even $50,000—to CMN; and we are equally thrilled when a small chapter gives $6,000 to CMN from their golf tournament. Collectively, that could total more than $100,000 donated to CMN on behalf of credit unions in the Cornerstone region. That's hard to beat!

But we want to try, because that's what the Credit Unions Care campaign is all about. CUs Care is a way to show that we are bigger and better together. What we do is important and makes an impact in people's lives and in the health of our communities.

Cornerstone would like to encourage all affiliated credit unions to keep on with the tremendous efforts to raise money for CMN, and to remind you that when you're ready to donate your funds raised, please complete the CUs Care form and send or email it (not your actual check for funds) to Cornerstone, so that a record of your contribution can be included in the collective record for credit unions throughout the region.

Not only are the contributions to CMN important, but so are all the good works credit unions are doing in their communities. So, for your next marketing campaign or event, generate enthusiasm by having staff wear the CUs Care red T-shirts; put the CUs Care logo on your marketing materials; hang a CUs Care sign where it gets great visibility; wear CUs Care imprinted baseball caps and pins; or combine the logo with your dozens of other creative marketing ideas. Red shirts, stuffed bears, and other materials are available on the CUs Care website and make great gifts for the holidays.

And don't forget to send us stories and photos of all the great work you're doing. We want you to help spread the word. Send your photos and stories to Vickey Morris at, or when posting to your Facebook or Twitter accounts, be sure to use the #CUs_Care hashtag.

Every chance we get to show our communities that Credit Unions Care is a chance to build on the good will and loyalty we've already achieved. We thank you for your continued generous support.
