CUNA Council White Paper Examines Member Onboarding and Engagement Strategies
Wednesday, December 17, 2014 6:30 AM

Onboarding and engagement are key for retention, growth, and member satisfaction. Coupled with the fact that credit unions typically invest a great deal of time, money, and energy to bolster their membership rolls, onboarding and engagement with members—particularly new members—is all the more critical.

A new white paper from Credit Union National Association's Operations, Sales, and Service Council called, "Sink or Swim: The Rising Tide of Member Onboarding and Engagement Strategies," addresses how credit unions can build and implement member outreach strategies and tactics that help maximize a lifelong relationship.

The paper covers:

  • Examining the importance of member onboarding and engagement
  • Creating elements of a strategic member onboarding and engagement plan
  • Gaining executive management buy-in
  • Analyzing necessary technology and staff training
  • Personalizing the digital member experience
  • Reviewing best practices, tips, and tactics

CUNA Council members are eligible to receive complimentary copies of this, and more than 300 other white papers.

The paper is available online in the white paper section of www.cunacouncils.org.
