CUNA Commends Cornerstone's 'Feel the Difference' Campaign and Touts Strength in Working Together

In Friday's Nussle Report, Credit Union National Association President/CEO Jim Nussle recapped the week's activities at America's Credit Union Conference and the introduction of their Credit Union Awareness Initiative, and he commended Cornerstone Credit Union League's unveiling of the "Feel the Difference" awareness effort.

"The goal of this work is to align our messaging around the credit union difference; to get us speaking the same way so that we can further inject ourselves into the hearts and minds of consumers," Nussle said.

"The research that shaped the league's 'Feel the Difference' campaign unearthed the same truths as ours: When people understand what credit unions are, they're more compelled to join," Nussle said. "We look forward to working with Dick Ensweiler and the League, in addition to the dozens of other League-wide and individual efforts across the country, on narrowing the credit union awareness gap."

Nussle also cited CUNA Board Chair Rod Staatz's underlying message during his address at ACUC: the idea that, in all of our work, whether advocacy or raising awareness, we're stronger together.
