CU Sense’s Political Meet & Greet
Wednesday, October 23, 2013 7:40 AM

On International Credit Union Day last week, credit unions from the Gulf Coast Chapter of Credit Unions, otherwise known as Credit Union Sense, gathered with local elected officials at La Brisa on the Creek for their last Political Meet & Greet of the year. The Political Meet & Greet gives credit unions a chance to collaborate and network with elected officials to enhance the credit union community.

Credit Union Sense maintains a strong presence within the community and believes it's important to get involved at such events to make progress with the credit union movement. Over 100 people attended the event and 20 of the attendees were elected officials. The festive night included dinner and silent and live auctions. Auction proceeds went to the Political Action Committee.

Along with credit union CEOs and elected officials, the event also included a select "Young Professional" from each credit union to share their perspectives on how to improve the credit union community.
