CU Directors: Legal Responsibilities & Liability Avoidance
Friday, March 24, 2017 6:20 AM

Serving as a director of a credit union is not a spectator sport. Directors are responsible for the general direction and control of their credit union, and failure to adhere to appropriate governance and ethical standards can result in removal, litigation, fines, and criminal penalties.

Credit union directors are invited to the webinar, Credit Union Directors: Legal Responsibilities and Liability Avoidance, hosted by the Cornerstone Volunteers Council:

Date: Wednesday, April 19, 2017
Time: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. CST
Register Now

In this webinar, directors will review fundamental duties and responsibilities, and what boards and individual directors should do to act in the best interest of members while avoiding personal liability.

There's no cost to Volunteers Council members, and only $25 for non-members, which includes dues for the 2017 Volunteers Council membership.
