On Wednesday, Sept. 13, credit unions around the country will "dress down" to show their support for sick kids in their area. The annual Credit Unions for Kids Miracle Jeans Day event encourages credit union employees to donate $5 for the opportunity to wear jeans to work that day.

Your credit union can help raise $1.3 million in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas by donating $5 to wear your red Credit Unions Care T-shirt and Jeans on Miracle Jeans day.

When collecting money for CMN we invite you to use the Credit Unions Care donation dogs. For every dollar donated, members can write their name on a dog, and the credit union can proudly display it in the lobby for all to see. Donation dogs are free of charge and can be ordered along with red T-shirts and other supplies.

Because the same charity will benefit from Credit Unions Care and Credit Unions for Kids, credit unions can also order free paper icons and stickers from CU4Kids. To register your credit union, please click here.

Last year, more than 300 credit unions went casual for kids, raising thousands of dollars for their local CMN Hospitals. More than 100 credit unions from 40 states have already pledged their support for the 2017 Miracle Jeans Day event.

Credit unions traditionally raise the most of any Children's Miracle Network Hospitals corporate partner, and like all CMN Hospitals donations, funds raised locally will stay in the community. The funds support each hospital's greatest needs, which include life-saving research, treatments, equipment, and charitable care. The funds raised help sick children and their parents navigate some very difficult days.
