Credit Union Business Recovery & Continuity Services
Tuesday, August 1, 2017 6:45 AM

The Governor of Oklahoma recently announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved the state's request for disaster assistance. This approval includes 16 counties and relates to the severe weather that occurred on May 15-20 of this year.

Not only is FEMA a great resource for credit unions who experience natural disasters, but the League also is now providing a Strategic Assessments of credit unions to help them perform a self-diagnosis of their organization. Once the assessment is done, the credit union is given the tools and resources they need to improve their situation, if required.

This tool is great for credit unions who are struggling with disaster recovery. Credit Union Resources also partners with Agility Recovery to help credit unions with business recovery and continuity services.

All three resources above are options credit unions can take advantage of. It's very important as the League, to provide credit unions with as much assistance as possible to survive and thrive.
