Cortez to Speak on Higher Performance at Women's Conference
Wednesday, June 8, 2016 6:15 AM

Women's Leadership Conference | July 25-26, 2016 | Dallas, Texas

Women's Leadership ConferenceEvery organization depends on the performance and innovation of its employees, but sometimes an organization experiences growing pains or changes in leadership or the culture of the organization no longer supports their best engagement and performance.

Women's Leadership Conference speaker Alise Cortez, PhD, says the key to prosperity and success for all is to restore that situation back to strong health as soon as possible, before the employees get entirely disengaged and no longer perform at strong levels or they leave the organization. In her session, "Enabling Engagement and Higher Performance," Cortez will show how leaders, managers, and individual contributors can have an incredibly positive impact on engagement and performance when they're committed and empowered.

Alise CortezWomen are best equipped to decide for themselves what they really want from their life and work. Everyone benefits when women work to overcome real or self-imposed barriers to achieving what they most want.

In her second session, "Women Taking Charge of Their Lives and Leading Others," Cortez notes countless examples of real, interesting, and inspiring women who have created a fulfilling life and who impact their organizations and community through their leadership efforts. Cortez says that having a community of strong women enjoying their lives and making a difference is an essential ingredient for our self-realization and can be the impetus we need to contribute our best talents and leadership. The key is stepping up to the challenge and “leaning in.”
