Cornerstone Sees Early Success in the Credit Unions Care Campaign
Monday, October 19, 2015 7:00 AM

Credit Unions Care

And the numbers just keep climbing! The Cornerstone Credit Union League continues to receive funds for its Credit Unions Care Campaign. To date, the campaign has brought in almost $35,000. That's 25 percent of our goal, but we've much more work to do to reach $110,000.

Credit unions can be involved as little or as much as they like through the sale of CUs Care donation dogs, candy sales, bake sales, cash donations, or other creative endeavors. Remember, the more money this campaign raises, the more positive impact credit unions can make on desperately ill children and their families.

During September's annual Leadership Conference, Cornerstone EVP Karen Hart challenged credit unions to raise $200 each. "If every Cornerstone credit union would contribute $200, we would surpass the $100,000 mark. Imagine what a real difference we can make." Hart also said, "We need to raise awareness in the public so everyone knows all the good that you do in the communities."

To contribute money to the campaign, download the donation form and mail it with your check (payable to the Children's Miracle Network) to the league office in Farmers Branch. Fully 100 percent of your donation will be applied to your local hospital.
