Cornerstone's Nate Webb to Provide Election Night Analysis
Thursday, November 1, 2018 6:50 AM

Nate Webb

Oklahoma Credit Union Association Executive Director Nate Webb will once again provide Election Night analysis and commentary on Oklahoma’s statewide public television network on Nov. 6.

The event will also be live-streamed on Facebook.

Oklahoma’s 2018 election cycle has been both historic and contentious. Webb believes it will be a long and interesting night. “When the polls close and the numbers start to come in, I can’t think of a better place to be than the news desk," Webb said. "Especially this year.”

In recent months, Oklahoma voters have shown a general disdain for the status quo. Webb thinks that unrest will become evident on Tuesday.

“We will most certainly see some legislative seats flip from one party to the other, and the governor’s race will be a cliffhanger," Webb predicted. "It’s so close, we probably won’t have a winner declared until late Tuesday or possibly the next morning. I might be a little late to the office on Wednesday.”

Webb’s extensive political background has made him a frequent contributor on both the state and national levels.

He has served as a senior advisor for several gubernatorial, congressional, and legislative campaigns. He was also a delegate to the 2004 and 2008 Republican National Conventions and played a key role in the Oklahoma Republican Party’s statewide efforts on behalf of presidential candidates George W. Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney.
