Cornerstone's Launch of 'Save to Win' Program Meets with Enthusiasm

Already, Cornerstone's new version of the "Save to Win" program with both national and league-level prizes for members of credit unions in Arkansas and Texas has proven to be a big hit among credit unions.

Participating in Save to Win increases a credit union's wallet share and teaches members to build savings. It’s fun, easy, and risk-free. Members establish a Save to Win savings account that automatically enters them into monthly and quarterly cash prize drawings from league and national prize money pools every time they make a $25 deposit. They’ll build savings while earning chances to win something extra.

To date, the program has helped members save nearly $180 million and has awarded more than $2.4 million in prizes. Save to Win also helps credit unions score big with their most sought-after audience too—millennials, who make up 33 percent of the program’s participants. Best of all, it’s fee-free for members and a minimal investment for credit unions.

"Save to Win is a direct result of the gains credit unions and voters made in Texas through the first-ever credit union amendment allowing Prize-Linked Saving accounts," said Cornerstone President/CEO Caroline Willard.
