Cornerstone Offering Free Audio Conference on EMV Transition
Tuesday, April 14, 2015 6:30 AM

Join your Cornerstone colleagues on April 23, from 10:30–11:30 a.m., for a special audio conference called Moving Ahead with EMV Transition: Risks, Liability, and Implementation. The event is hosted by the Cornerstone Compliance Council.

The EMV Cards 2015 are primarily a technology issue versus a legal matter; however, use of the cards will impact the legal/compliance equation. Participants will review the basics of EMV and the security issues associated with it, and get answers to the question, PIN or no PIN? Also on tap, fraud allocation rules changes; communicating issues to members; and any news updates up to the time of the audio conference. In the new era of enterprise risk management, EMV may also play into credit union assessments, which will also be addressed.
