Cornerstone League Reps Ready to Meet Your Training Needs

Training is an important component of organizational preparedness and success.  It’s essential to the improvement of an employee’s skills and knowledge.  Effective training provides the tools and outlines job performance expectations.  It can motivate staff, further job understanding, foster positive member relationships, and generate process improvements.   

Why the focus on training?  All credit union employees face moments of truth each and every day.  They interact with members, co-workers, board of directors, and others; therefore, it’s imperative that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties and responsibilities confidently.  In addition to the vast array of online training, seminars and workshops, and conferences that are available through Cornerstone Credit Union League’s Training & Events department, your League Representative is also able to offer some training as a dues supported service.

Training is available in the following areas:

  • Duties and responsibilities of the board of directors
  • Duties and responsibilities of the supervisory committee
  • ID Theft/red flag
  • Business ethics
  • Providing superior member service
  • How to cross-sell effectively
  • Robbery prevention and preparedness
  • Advocacy
  • League overview
