Cornerstone Credit Union League Offers Two Vendor Presentations at Upcoming Conference
Tuesday, August 13, 2013 5:25 AM

In addition to featuring 24 educational sessions, three general sessions and four best practice panel discussions, the Cornerstone Credit Union League is offering two vendor presentations at its Sept. 5-7 Leadership Conference & Expo in San Antonio.

Sponsored by Members Private Sale, “How to Drive Auto Lending through Partnerships & Programs” is being presented by Ken Hargrove and Bill Pflum.

Credit unions across the country have seen their direct auto loan portfolios shrink as their members face more choices from online buying sites and local dealers. But new technology and innovative CRM tools lets you leverage your credit union’s trust and community into increased business and member loyalty.

In this information-packed session, Hargrove and Pflum will walk attendees through a new member service opportunity and loan management platform, and provide a preview of the new Members Private Sale site. Participants will learn how to:

  • Grow their credit union’s direct auto loan portfolio;
  • Increase sales of companion products;
  • Activate inactive members;
  • Earn more on repossessed vehicles; and
  • Help members get the best deal possible when buying or selling (or trading) a used vehicle.

Sponsored by Welch ATM, the second vendor presentation is presented by Mark Smith, Welch ATM & Shaun King, Triton. “EMV and ATM Compliance – Understanding and Preparing for Changing Regulations, Requirements, Currency and More,” examines the latest changes in compliance and regulation to the ATM including EMV, NFC. According to Smith, understanding these regulations and changes as well as the potential dangers they pose is essential to maintaining an operating ATM network that promotes convenience for credit union members.
