Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation Collaborates with CCCS of Greater Dallas to Improve Financial Literacy among Consumers
Tuesday, March 11, 2014 6:45 AM

Thanks to a grant from the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation (Foundation), Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas (CCCS) is able to offer 14 free, live webinars in March. The first webinar is today at 12:30 p.m. and the topic is “How to Spend Your Tax Refund.”

The 14 webinars focus on a broad range of personal finance topics, from building wealth, to getting out of debt, conquering credit scores, homeownership, and getting ready for baby. A full schedule is available at www.cscuf.coop/events.html.

Executive Director Courtney Moran says the Foundation is pleased to have been able to collaborate with CCCS on this important initiative.

“Financial stability is essential to maintaining a strong, healthy family unit,” notes Moran. “By collaborating with credit unions, educators, community partners and others, we are able to expand our outreach and empower consumers to make smarter financial choices.”
