Congressman Markwayne Mullin Visits Okla.'s First Family FCU

U.S. Congressman Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), representing Oklahoma's 2nd District, recently paid a visit to First Family Federal Credit Union in Okmulgee. Mullin met with First Family President/CEO David Dykes and his staff to discuss a variety of important issues, including data security and the proliferation of burdensome federal regulations.

The credit union also presented the two-term congressman with a campaign contribution to assist in his bid for reelection.

Mullin is a co-sponsor of H.R. 3048, the Community Financial Institution Exemption Act, which would exempt credit unions under $10 billion in total assets from CFPB rules moving forward. He also sits on the influential House Energy and Commerce Committee.
