Complimentary CU Webinar: How to Read, Interpret Your Members' Credit Reports
Thursday, July 28, 2016 6:20 AM

You're invited to attend a complimentary webinar on Aug. 11:  "How to Read and Interpret Your Members' Credit Reports." The webinar is hosted by the Small Credit Union Sub-Committee, and takes place:

Date: Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016
Time: 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. CT
More information and registration.

The ability to read and interpret your members' credit reports is a vital piece of the loan decision-making process. Most credit unions will use one of the three major bureaus: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. To help, there are custom presentations available that show each bureau in the same format.

By reviewing the credit reports, you can see your members' creditors and how those creditors have been repaid; however, credit bureaus provide much more information than this. This webinar will not only help you read the credit report, but will also help you discover the story behind it.

Who Should Attend?
CEOs, board members, supervisory committee members, credit union management, lending, and collections staff.

Your Presenter:  Mike Roark
Mike RoarkMike Roark has been in the financial services industry for more than 33 years, and 24 of those years have been with credit unions. He has held several positions in credit unions ranging from branch manager to CLO, and he currently holds the position of SVP of lending/collections at Neighborhood Credit Union.

Roark has a BBA in management from University of Oklahoma and an MBA in finance from Oklahoma City University. He is a United States Navy Veteran. He is also the president of the Dallas Chapter of Credit Unions and a member of the executive committee on the CCUL Lending Council.
