Community Resource CU

Community Resource Credit Union in Baytown recently announced the purchase of a new branch location at the North Highway 146 and Interstate 10 corridor (8010 North Highway 146, Baytown, Texas 77523). The full-service branch location for commercial and personal banking will feature a walk-in lobby, four drive-through lanes, a night deposit, and an ATM.

“This newest branch exemplifies CRCU’s commitment to convenience and service for our membership, which is our number one goal,” said David Frazier, CRCU president and CEO. "This additional full-service branch will provide the seventh such branch for CRCU and will allow all of our members to conduct their financial needs much more efficiently."

“With service being one of our greatest priorities, we are committed to continue growing additional CRCU branch locations, as well as online and mobile convenience services,” added Frazier.

The newest branch for CRCU is set to open for business in early July of this year.

About CRCU
In 1935, a group of visionary Humble Oil employees in Baytown, Texas, joined together to form a credit union—a not-for-profit financial cooperative. Their vision was to create a financial institution dedicated to the mission of people-helping-people with low-cost, valued financial services. With current total assets of $421 million, CRCU operates six full-service locations in Baytown, Crosby, Atascocita, and Mont Belvieu. Member deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), the strongest deposit insurance fund in the nation.
