Coming in May: OSCUIā€™s New Training Portal
Friday, April 21, 2017 6:20 AM

In May, the National Credit Union Administration's Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives (OSCUI) will launch its Learning Management Service to assist credit unions with their training needs.

Previously, OSCUI's training and resource guides were listed on separate pages within their website, which made it difficult to determine the full range of training materials available to credit unions. With the new Learning Management Service, all of OSCUI’s webinars, videos, and resource guides will be organized under specific categories to make them easier to find.

With this new service, you’ll also be able to open an online user account. When you do that and identify your position, such as board member or credit union loan officer, the system will generate a list of recommended training topics and course materials for you. By opening a user account, all course completions will be maintained online for you. This service will be available at no charge to users.

The service is a work in progress and is in the first phase of development and will be updated with new course materials over time.

Also, take note of the revised OSCUI website. There are tabs for our Consulting and Grants and Loans services and a new tab labeled “Resources” that includes a page dedicated to the streamlined community development financial institutions application process for low-income designated credit unions.
