Co-Op Financial Services Raising Interchange on 3rd Party ATM Withdrawals
Tuesday, November 4, 2014 6:50 AM

Effective February 1, 2015, CO-OP Financial Services is raising interchange on Third Party ATM withdrawals by $0.02 per transaction.

CO-OP says they must raise the interchange rate to continue providing quality locations where your credit union members can conveniently access accounts surcharge-free, including 7-Eleven, Costco, Walgreens, and a growing list of other business locations. CO-OP ATM currently provides access to more than 30,000 ATMs. Third Party ATM locations offer critical touch points for your members, and Co-Op says it plans to add to the network as economically reasonable opportunities are presented.

The 90-days' notice is in accordance with Co-Op's Operating Rules and Regulations, which can be found here. The specific change to the ORRs reflecting the new pricing can be found here. Current Operating Rules will continue to remain in the Extranet until the effective date of the updated rules.

This change will be first reflected in your February 2015 Institution Fee Reports, delivered in March.

Co-Op Financial Services is a five-star business partner of Credit Union Resources, Inc. To learn more about Credit Union Resources, please visit
