Catalyst Corporate Holds Annual Economic Forum in Irving
Wednesday, June 25, 2014 6:55 AM

Registration will open in July for Catalyst Corporate’s annual Economic Forum held on October 7-8 in Irving, Texas, at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas. This event includes a wide range of financial industry experts. The forum is a beneficial resource for credit unions who want to stay up to date on changes in the economy and how those changes will affect financial institutions.

This year’s forum will be held earlier than in past years to allow credit unions to gain as much knowledge about the upcoming fiscal year before planning their 2015 budgets.

A complimentary event, the Financial Management Seminar, will be held the day before the forum starts, on October 6. The intensely focused one-day event, hosted by Catalyst Strategic Solutions, offers specific strategies for managing risk and positioning credit unions for growth in a demanding economy.

So far, the line-up of presenters at the Catalyst Economic Forum includes:

  • Kathleen Camilli, former economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and one of the nation’s top economic forecasters
  • Steve Rick, former senior economist at Credit Union National Association and now chief economist at CUNA Mutual will bring the credit union perspective
  • Roger Tutterow, Mercer University economics professor who brings clarity and common sense to financial complexities
  • Elliot Eisenberg, former senior economist with the National Association of Home Builders who will share his analysis of the real estate industry
  • Chris Low, chief economist at FTN Financial and chair of the ABA Economic Advisory Committee to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors
  • Jack Uldrich, futurist who illuminates tomorrow’s economic threats and opportunities

Additional presenters will be announced soon.
