Wednesday, January 14, 2015 6:55 AM

The Cornerstone Credit Union League board of directors has voted to add three associate directorships to represent the credit union volunteer and the young credit union professional.

In recognition of the unique and vital roles of the volunteer and young professional in the credit union system, the board has designated one associate directorship for the volunteer, one for the young professional, and a third to be either a volunteer or young professional.

Associate directors will be encouraged to participate in all board discussions and deliberations as non-voting members of the League board. Associate directors will hold two-year terms, and their lodging and travel expenses for board meeting attendance will be reimbursed.

The terms of the three associate directors will commence at the time of the League Board Organization meeting on April 9, 2015 (held in conjunction with the League Annual Membership meeting in Austin, Texas).
